Westbourne Earthquake X Almira Buffalo Bone Jackson

2013 Notes

It set pods easily with pollen from 13001. It was dormant in the winter of 2013-2014.

2014 Notes

This was the most often used pollen parent in 2014. The bloom is rounder than I would like, but it bloomed for ~3 weeks, demonstrated consistent patterning, and showed some bud building. The 2014 scape was ~40 inches tall with one lateral, but the scape was not what I would consider "pretty".

It had increased to 5 fans by fall of 2014. All the fans are a couple of inches from the closest fan, so it is forming a fairly loose clump. There was only one scape in 2014, but it went into the winter of 2013-2014 with only one fan.

It was not very pod fertile in 2014. I made some seed with EARTH JEWELS, but pods from CHERRY PEACOCK aborted.
